Photonics Spectra will have their Spectroscopy Conference on-line on April 12 and 13. The major topics are Emerging Technologies, Data Analysis, Biospectroscopy and Embedded. I will be giving the introductory talk in the ‘Embedded’ section, highlighting how miniature spectrometers, spectra sensors and photonic components are now being embedded in consumer goods, from ‘white goods’ (e.g., washing machines) to personal care products.
